We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every Maison C&R piece. Each creation is made with care, precision, and enduring materials, and is designed to be worn and enjoyed over time.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Our Warranty
In addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, Maison C&R offers a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase covering manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for jewellery purchased directly from Maison C&R via our website or authorised sales channels. Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, the piece will be repaired or replaced as appropriate, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
What Is Covered
Manufacturing defects may include faults in materials or workmanship, defective clasps or closures, or structural issues resulting from production under normal and intended wear.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear such as scratches, dents, or patina; damage caused by impact, misuse, or accidental force; stones lost due to impact or improper handling; resizing, alterations, or custom modifications; improper storage or care; tarnishing resulting from failure to follow care instructions; or repairs or alterations carried out by a third party. Jewellery is delicate by nature and is designed to be worn with care, and proper use and maintenance are required to preserve its condition over time.
Assessment of Warranty Claims
All warranty claims are subject to assessment by our team. If a fault is determined not to be a manufacturing defect, we will contact you to discuss available repair options and any associated costs before proceeding.
Paid Repairs
For pieces that fall outside the 12-month warranty period or show signs of general wear, damage, or impact, Maison C&R offers repair services subject to assessment and quotation. All paid repairs completed by Maison C&R are covered by a 6-month warranty from the date of repair, limited to the workmanship performed.
